Believes in equity for all students! @SFUnified Commissioner, Associate Director @StanfordLaw IRC, Public School Parent, Candidate for SF School Board.
Tonight we celebrate — thank you San Francisco!
I’m humbled and grateful for the opportunity to continue this critically important work on the school board. I remain committed to listening to and centering our students, families, and educators.
In between the much needed rain showers this weekend, we got outside and encouraged people across the city to get out and vote!
Thankful to Mayor @LondonBreed for her trust in me to do right by our students, educators and families. #LetsDoThis!
Election Day is 4 days away – & we have the power to make real change at SFUSD. Join me & @uniteddemclubsf at the following events this weekend as we get out the vote:
–Sat. 11/5, 3PM Mobilization @ Java Beach on Ocean & Faxon Ave.
–Sun. 11/6, 12PM Mobilization @ Lafayette Park
Thank you to all the awesome volunteers who came out today to fight for the schools our students deserve by getting the vote out for school board candidates @alidafisher and @LisaforSFboe and Prop G! Remember to vote by Election Day on Tuesday Nov 8th! 🗳 🗳 🗳 @sflabor
I had a great morning getting the word out to voters alongside @LainieforSFBOE, Supervisor @RafaelMandelman, @FADC_SF, and the @keepsfmoving_ campaigns!
Election Day is 10 days away and the future of SFUSD is on the ballot – make a plan to vote today.
I’m grateful for their support – and I will continue to work tirelessly to make sure that all of our students and educators have access to the quality education and supportive work environments that they all deserve.
I am thrilled to share that over the past couple of weeks, I have received endorsements from a wide range of news outlets from across the city, including:
—San Francisco Chronicle
—San Francisco Examiner
—Bay Area Reporter
—San Francisco Bay Guardian
We’re 18 days away from election day!
I believe education is the ultimate foundation to bring our city in the direction it desperately needs and I’m committed to ensuring all SFUSD students receive the exceptional education they deserve.
Vote 11/8!: https://t.co/AHG3PqsFwA
The growing opportunity gap is one of the biggest issues facing our District. I believe that quality public education for all can close opportunity gaps and help lay the foundation to reverse economic inequities through access to higher education and/or career opportunities.
Ballots were delivered to SF voters last week and I need your help getting out the vote! If you haven’t already, make sure to fill out and mail in your ballot – our children deserve success and with your help, I can continue making students my top priority.
I blinked and my first born, & one of my absolute most favorite campaign helpers, turned 11 years old! He & his little brother are my daily reminder about why I’m in this race-to make sure we are providing an education that is rooted in equity & excellence for all SFUSD children.
There are 33 days until November 8th – and we’re ready to bring change to SFUSD!
Interested in joining a lit drop this Sunday (10am–12pm) for me and @LainieforSFboe? Please join our team & sign up here so that we can get our District back on track: https://t.co/tp2rg37faI
I had such a great time last night with @SFFFLocal798 laying out my priorities for the District:
✅Address the work with a student-centered focus on equity and excellence
✅Build trust through accessible and transparent communication
✅Create financial stability
We are 47 days out from election day – join us this weekend as we distribute door hangers and inform San Francicans about all the work we have done and will continue to do to ensure success for the children of SFUSD!
Since my appointment to the School Board, I’ve met with many parents, families, educators, and community members to hear about their needs and how we can improve outcomes for all children at SFUSD together.
When our communities are strong, our schools are strong.
