Here for the people standing up for themselves. To the puppet mps who have decided that our votes meant nothing, those own goals will keep coming until you listen to the people who put you in those positions.
I have uploaded external debt data from the treasury website.
A few insights.
1. We have unpaid loans from as far 1974
2. World bank (via IDA) is largest creditor followed by China

Political parties are a big part of the problem in this country! And you want to wonder why the youth want to remain leaderless and tribeless. It's because those outfits are brokers who are only concerned with how they benefit.
For the first time in a long time serious audits will be undertaken in appointments of the CS positions. We need credible, qualified people with integrity.
People need to stop talking about and blaming advisors. He doesn't have advisors, he has cheerleaders. He is too arrogant and thinks himself too clever.
My reaction
1. Let's have a moment of silence for @DavidNdii. His economic mumbo jumbo has been rubbished as his boss threw him out and ran over him with an 18-wheeler, by embracing "austerity", "debt-restructuring", and "taming corruption".
2. H.E. lives in an alternative Kenya with alternative facts if he believes that the subsidized fertilizer program was a success.
3. This speech might not have been AI-generated, but it was full of empty platitudes, and meaningless soundbites. He cannot and will not tame corruption.
4. The man must be deaf if it took thousands of petitions, weeks of public debate, 3 mega protests, and loss of precious lives before he finally listened to Kenyans. No, he has not heard us, more likely he was told what to do by a non-Kenyan.
5. What does he mean by the people who died (who he claims are only 6) "will be accounted for through the appropriate mechanisms"? The use of passive voice, and ambiguous words are linguistic cues for someone who is non-committal.
6. I didn't hear anything about how rogue security officers who used disproportionate force and killed unarmed protestors, health workers and journalists would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
7. He flat out lied about the abductees claiming that they were in police custody or had been processed. He has acknowledged that his government is complicit in arbitrary arrests. Anyway, there's a petition on that issue, and I'm sure his speech will be part of the evidence, so I'll leave it at that.
8. Did he even mention the unconstitutional KDF deployment?
In summary, this speech was disingenuous, at least in yesterday's speech I believed him.
