@stanbicug There is a reason Powers of Attorney exist. Requiring the principal’s presence for a transaction that the attorney is expressly authorized to perform defeats the very purpose of granting a Power of Attorney.

@stanbicug Another banker took the opposite position, turning away the sick principal and insisting that both the principal and I had to be physically present to carry out the transaction. Both positions cannot be correct at the same time.
