I have been thinking about darkness recently.

I lost 3 people important to me in 2024. All within a few months time.
I experienced grief like I had never encountered. But I did not cry.
I think my tears now are the ones stored up. And now need to be cried out.

I told my friend (born in India) that I usually take an hour and 10 minute nap daily.
I said the first 10 minutes are for crying. She and I both laughed.
And it wasn't even an awkward laugh. It was an understanding laugh.
I set the timer, since I can't forget the Boy.
