One thing that is really helpful while listening to an adverse witness testify, and during cross examination, is your client continuously tugging your arm saying “she is lying” then passing a note that says “she is lying.”

An observation: The law school asked us to call students to check in at the end of the semester. What have I learned? Unsurprisingly, no one answers the phone anymore. 23 calls, 4 students answered. I left (hopefully) amusing messages for those who actually had voicemail. Cheers!
