📢#ISAD2020 QUESTION OF THE DAY📢
What do you think people who don't #stammer can do to help to improve awareness and change misconceptions about #stuttering?
Let us know below!
Stammering and stigma: When I was younger, I was introverted, and I would stay indoors because friends would avoid me and people would make fun of me. - Dominic Kiplimo #NewNormal@Gladys_Gachanja
Stammering: My mother did not consider it a disability; she was very patient with us: she would listen to us and make sure we completed our sentences. - Christine Alukongo #NewNormal@Gladys_Gachanja
Should you finish sentences for stammerers? - @Gladys_Gachanja
You shouldn't finish sentences for stammerers because it denies them the opportunity to express themselves fully. Patience is very important.- Gladys Rotich (Speech and Language Therapist) #NewNormal
