Thrilled that our Director @JahnineDavis has been appointed to this role! We are also pleased that she will remain Director at Listen Up. We have increased capacity in the team so that our work amplifying marginalised children continues!
Last week, we published new research, carried out by @ListenUpCo and Missing People, exploring Black children and their families’ lived experiences of going missing.
The focus of this research was hearing the voices of children and young people themselves, as well as parents of children who have been missing. Here are just some of their reported experiences.
If you have been affected by missing and feel that you need support, our free, confidential Helpline is available by phone or text on 116 000.
Today we have published groundbreaking research into the experience of missing Black children and their families. Listen Up and @missingpeople worked in partnership to explore an overlooked and unaddressed issue.

A year ago we worked with @ListenUpCo to publish data showing the disproportionate amount of people from Black communities going missing, and disparities in response to Black & Asian missing people.
One year on, read about changes that have been made: https://t.co/DcTikRmoLp
