I have been busy with dozens of other time-sensitive matters, but I wanted to comment on this.

Our federal (and most state) employment laws mandate a level playing field for American workers vis-à-vis foreigners — yet many American tech (and other) companies prefer to hire cheaper/exploitable foreign workers to do routine jobs Americans could do, and they do this by failing to post jobs on their normal hiring channels (PERM violations), letting foreign-born hiring managers pipeline cheap foreign labor from body-shop mills over American workers (H1-B abuses), lie about their eligibility for no-cap H1-B hiring, abuse other visa categories such as J-1 visas (we see you, universities!), abuse OPT hiring to get cheap, exploitable foreign labor, and sometimes — getting super arrogant, gaslight laid-off and sidelined Americans while doing any of the above.

These are not good business practices; they are not patriotic economic practices; and they are illegal labor practices. This administration will not allow American employers to discriminate against American workers. It is illegal, wrong, and bad for our economy. I am sure my colleagues at @USEEOC and @USDOL agree. We are all on the case, and working together to level the playing field for US workers.

Because the “best talent” from other countries is largely 1) inferior to average talent in America, and 2) not compatible with (and often outright hostile to) American culture.

America invented the automobile and the airplane. It launched the industrial revolution. America went to the moon. America created the computer and the internet. America developed the MRI and the CT scan. America created the aircraft carrier and the intercontinental ballistic missile. America split the atom and harnessed its power. And we did it without pocket calculators, which we also invented.

America did this because America is better and Americans are better than everyone else. This was true in 1776, it was true in 1950, it is true today, and it will remain true a hundred years from now.

America is not a global VC incubator for foreign scammers.

America is our home and our birthright, and it exists to secure the blessings of liberty for AMERICANS. We know this because it was written into our charter by our founders at the beginning.

It’s long past time for foreigners who hate us and just want to loot us to enrich their own countries for once. Maybe use some of that pluck and drive to educate the two largest populations on earth about basic sanitation or the notion that rivers aren’t municipal sewers or trash dumps.

And if those countries’ best and brightest are incapable of making even a dent in their own countries, despite the belief that their own cultures are superior to ours despite all evidence to the contrary, then we certainly don’t want them here.

At this point, I don’t care about the Reformed ghetto turf wars. I cannot muster almost any concern for it.

It's ultimately insignificant, useless, and frankly boring. It is an endlessly devolving waste of time, benefitting no one.

I just want Christians to understand the lateness of the hour and do all that can be done to save Western civilization. I want Christians to know the joy of good marriages, godly offspring, fruitful churches, and meaningful work done unto the Lord.

This can be done. By God's grace, we see it being built—brick by painful brick—here in Ogden. It's not impossible, just really hard.

But one of your first items on the to-do list if you're going to do it well is to stop caring about the gossips, the divisive meddlers, and the hall monitors. They don't matter. Get to work and ignore them.

What an absolute bombshell of testicular firepower from the MAGA White House, mostly the work of @StephenM and his immigration cleanup team across DHS

- @Ilhan Omar directly told by the White House nobody at DHS/HSI will listen to her and that ICE is actively investigating her

- USCIS sends a demand letter to universities about their CPT programs and what jobs/roles the students were assigned and how they fit to their degree plans. In direct response to the inquiries, at least a dozen CPT programs across the country including popular ones at UC Berkeley, Purdue and UC Davis close their CPT program for this academic term.

- USCIS + State roll out two compensation fees that will STOP the visa hopping between F-1 and H-1B entirely

- State + USCIS + HSI together will be nuking over 200,000 tourist visas because the applicants came over and then filed bullshit asylum claims

Almost 500,000 Indians will be wiped out just from what was announced in the past 72 hours. It also dissuades hundreds of thousands of more Indians from even attempting to file petitions, knowing the US will gladly take the money for the apps and then deny them.

For clarity, if you’re seeing this type of thing, the aforementioned “curse” isn’t that God gave Ham’s descendants black skin as a curse. That type of claim is made either as an intentional straw man slander or just ignorance; one or the other.

The long and short of it is that Genesis 9 contains a prophetic blessing for Japheth and Shem and their descendants, and a curse for Ham’s descendant(s), on behalf of their father, Noah.

Japheth and Shem would be blessed, Japheth will dwell in Shem’s abode, and Canaan, Ham’s son, would be cursed and ruled over by Shem and Japheth. Clearly, they are prophetic in nature, and would be fulfilled at some point in the future (how far into the future, and for how long, is the crux of the debate).

The next chapter lays out the famous Table of Nations, that tracks the development of all the other nations/peoples/tribes etc of men and the anthropological origins of the races. From Genesis 10 and the rest of Scripture, it can be ascertained that Japheth’s descendants became associated broadly with peoples of Anatolia, the Caucasus, and Europe; Shem’s descendants with various Semitic peoples, including the Hebrews and several peoples of Mesopotamia; and Ham’s descendants with peoples of Egypt, North Africa, Cush, and Canaan.

So, Ham’s descendants being sub-Saharan Africans really isn’t the controversial part. Or if it is, it shouldn’t be, because that’s what the Bible teaches in the next chapter.

Much of what’s not in Scripture of these group’s development is filled in by ancient historians like Josephus, and it’s genuinely amazing how well the Table of Nations has held up to genetic science, almost as though the Bible is infallible or something. It’s a faithful witness.

For much of church history, theologians and scholars believed that Noah’s curse and blessings explains the trajectory of civilizational development, for example, the European’s global dominance post-Christianization, Ashkenazi Jews (Japhethites) now dwelling in Palestine, or the general crappiness of the African Continent, etc. These include the Reformers, commentators in the era of Matthew Henry, and early Baptists, like John Gill.

The debate is (1) how much those notions should disappear with modern sensibilities and (2) whether the consequences of the blessings and curse are still ongoing, and IF SO, that’s helpful information in the structuring of global society.

That’s the debate. Not if God gave black skin as a curse. That belief - that God made their skin black as the curse itself - was invented by the Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 108b) and is a Jewish belief, is not part of this debate, and neither is it in view here.
