Today, I joined Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry @DeboraBarasa in tree growing exercise in Lelan,West Pokot County .
The innitiave saw the growing of 10,000 trees,reinforcing national efforts to combat climate change.

NCK Team led by CEO/Registrar Dr. Lister joined CS for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry Dr. Barasa—today for a tree planting exercise in Lelan, West Pokot County.

This exercise will champion the government’s ambitious target of planting 15 billion trees by 2032.

This significant initiative aims to standardize healthcare training programs across East Africa, promoting a skilled and mobile workforce capable of delivering quality care throughout the region.

Ms. Muthoni commended the collaboration of regulatory boards and councils in pharmacy, nursing, and midwifery for their role in aligning training programs.

She underscored the importance of innovation, shared commitment, and regional partnerships in building a resilient health workforce to support the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) agenda.
