The Board members of Literature Alliance Scotland (LAS) would like to offer a sincere apology for the recent uploading of a resource to the LAS website and the offence this has caused.
The Board members recognise this is a significant failure and after holding a Board meeting today it has been agreed that the Chair of the Board, Sarah Mason, will step down with immediate effect.
We will be investigating the process in which our online materials are uploaded and will revise our procedures. We apologise for any confusion or offence this has caused.
We have become aware a resource on our website has been flagged by a number of our followers. It was a document submitted to LAS for review but was deemed unsuitable in its current form and was never Board approved. It was uploaded in error & should have been removed more swiftly
