Screening to identify young people at risk is cost-effective when conducted correctly – the conditions can be treated, securing a future for those identified. All young people should have the choice to be tested. Register your interest to be screened here: https://t.co/bXN7Macq6x
A very lovely day for a walk and all for a great cause. As always though, so sad to hear the list of names being read aloud at the start of the walk. Gets longer every year. @CRY_UK
2/2 Unfortunately, the number of young people dying from undiagnosed heart conditions is still 12 a week and rising! We do this walk every year to raise awareness so that other families don’t have to suffer as we have.
1/2 If you are out and about in Durham tomorrow keep an eye out for Team SuperKev walking in aid of this brilliant charity. This is our 11th year doing the walk in memory of my lovely brother.
We are so grateful to have over 200 walkers joining us tomorrow for the CRY Heart of Durham Walk - We look forward to welcoming you all at the Durham Amateur Rowing Club.
Don't forget, you can register on the day for £15 per adult, with under 16s go free.
