@AmazonMGMStudio These two are the blueprint .... wait where are the Stargate GIFs!? Anyone else not finding them?! Well either way, it's Vala and Daniel from SG-1.

How to Make the Case to Amazon: A Communication Strategy
A campaign that reads as fan grievance will get filed under "dedicated fanbase confirms our concern." The argument has to be made in Amazon's native language of acquisition, engagement, and retention, and it has to offer the new leadership a win rather than a climb-down. Concretely:
1. Lead with their own precedent, not with nostalgia. The opening slide is Fallout, not SG-1. Frame the thesis this way: faithful legacy genre IP is Prime Video's proven youth-acquisition strategy, and Stargate is the largest unexploited asset of that class they own. This lets Blair Fetter and the new regime greenlight something positioned as continuing a winning Amazon strategy instead of reversing their own decision.
2. Bring acquisition data, because they will. Marshal the publicly available signals: Nielsen and FlixPatrol performance of legacy sci-fi on streamers, the Suits resurgence as proof that a back catalogue can reignite, the demographic skew of Fallout's audience, and the social-listening volume around the cancellation itself. The June backlash is, perversely, free market research that demonstrates latent demand. Organized fandom (GateWorld, Dial the Gate, the convention circuit) can drive measurable behaviour that Amazon's own dashboards will register: coordinated rewatch events of SG-1 on Prime Video specifically. Watch-hours on their own platform are an argument no petition can match.
3. Reframe lore as the marketing budget. Make the case explicitly that continuity density converts to creator-economy output (explainers, edits, theory videos), which is the discovery channel for under-35s. Propose a launch strategy built around it: early access for genre YouTubers and Twitch creators, a sanctioned wiki and lore hub, and clip-friendly episode construction. The pitch line: you don't pay for Gen Z's attention, you feed the people they already watch.
4. Concede the real concern and answer it structurally. The fear of a homework-heavy revival isn't entirely irrational, so propose the dual-track answer Stargate invented: a new gate, a new team, a clean episode-one entry point for total newcomers, with legacy continuity present as a reward rather than a prerequisite. This is the difference between The Force Awakens (new entry point, legacy as depth) and a show that requires a syllabus.
5. Name the anti-pattern without the culture war. The Acolyte and Starfleet Academy belong in the deck, but framed strategically rather than tribally: shows engineered for a hypothetical young viewer underperformed with actual young viewers, while shows built on sincerity, competence, and faithful depth over-performed with them. The conclusion writes itself. Don't make Stargate for young people; make Stargate excellent and discoverable, and young people will make it theirs.
6. Route it where it can land. The audiences for this argument are, first, Amazon MGM TV leadership under Peter Friedlander and the new worldbuilding-and-genre group; second, the trade press, since Variety and Deadline shaped the cancellation narrative and can shape the reconsideration narrative; and third, Gero himself, who remains under an overall deal at the studio and is therefore still the most viable vehicle for any version of this. The public-facing version of the piece should be constructive enough that an Amazon executive could forward it internally without embarrassment. That is the bar.
Amazon says it is still exploring ways to bring Stargate back, with a hard reboot reportedly among the options. The temptation will be to chase the modern audience again with a younger cast, lighter lore, and a fresher perspective. The evidence of the last five years says that road is a graveyard. The modern younger audience is real, reachable, and bigger than any cohort before it. It just refuses to be reached by shows designed for its caricature. Stargate doesn't need to be remade for that audience. It needs to be made well, made sincerely, and made findable, and then, as it has done since 1997, it will do what it was always built to do: open a door and let new people walk through it.

"Fandom is something you feed, and when fed, it does your marketing for you, for free, at a scale no campaign budget can match."

I'm so pleasantly surprised by the Stargate actors and crew showing up and speaking out for #SaveStargate. I normally avoid learning anything about them beyond the character to enjoy immersion. But this is absolutely an exemption. Respect to you all.

You all really kick ass for this. Thank you from this fan.
If I'm missing any please correct me.
Kinda cool to get some likes from actors & creators of the show I adore.
But there’s a reason some of us felt compelled to be there… with 100k people watching us live at the flyover on @PopcastGuys I might add!
Because of those that put their heart & soul into making those shows in the first place. It comes through.
So thank you.
We appreciate all your hard work. For creating something special & lasting.
No matter whether we are successful or not in our #SaveStargate efforts, I just wanted to express my sincerest gratitude… on the off chance some of y’all happen to see this. 🫡

On May 30 and 31, we presented the full-scale replica of the Stargate at a convention for the very first time during the Metz’Torii event.
We would like to thank each and every one of you for this incredible weekend filled with emotion. 🥰
