After playing beta every day since it released and trying to decide on my first character for launch, I've landed on Priest. Spent countless days speed running several priest and deciding a race but ended on Gnome. Excited for live servers on Nov 4th. #WoWForever

The WoW: Forever stress test went live in the hope that they could prepare for the upcoming launch.
They definitely got what they were asking for when players were able to crash the server.
Idea: Change Hpally capstone talent to Beacon of Light but give it a 30 second cooldown and change how it works. Instead of duplicating healing give it a small +Healing/+Crit effect on the target it is on. Incentivises going deep Holy.
Thank you @EsfandTV, I've been saying this since we first seen Hpally talents in beta. Holy got the worst "rework" of all Paladin specs. I want to heal and feel like my healing is important. Not be a meme shockadin/dps-healer. @AggrendWoW@WarcraftDevs

So much of the secret to success in games is to just stop fiddling with it after it's fun...cause then it starts the slow, inevitable slide to suck.
You have WoW, don't touch WoW, watch WoW go.
It's so easy...and yet you have this.
I havenβt looked into rules but anyone competing in the Beta PvP tournament shouldnβt be allowed to have things handed to them. Should reward work, not viewership.

A level 1 fills the trade window in Valley of Trials with 380 gold and takes nothing back. @Ziqoftw didn't buy that gold, but if a viewer did, Blizzard's ban hammer on gold buyers is looking pretty selective right now. He can only get out one "Bruh" before he takes it.
Where does 380 gold on a level 1 even come from, and what does it change for the tournament ahead?

On the topic of Paladin's in "Forever" and a historic Hpally main - Please don't make shockadin a real thing... the talent tree makes us go into it. As a real Hpally I just want to heal.. stop making us into some weird damage battle healer in every version of the game.
WoW Senior Game Producer Tom Ellis has deleted his X account after backlash over his comments about Blizzardβs handling of offensive character names.
Ellis said players banned or forced to rename characters like βBilly Mcsuckmahballzβ deserved it,βI read the list. No sympathy. Be a better human next time.β
Users then dug up Ellisβs old posts from around 2009β2010, including a tweet using a homophobic slur for his gaming team, a Pedobear phone wallpaper, and several crude r@pe jokes.
It feels like some of nu-Blizzard is trying to drag WoW Forever down.
Maybe because it's the most successful beta they have ever had in WOW history.
Pretty ugly to see that kind of jealousy. Don't let them destroy a good thing like they destroyed Blizzard before.
What they are trying to do is what they always tried to do, either drag it down (chud game!) or insert themselves into the project to infect it, control it and make it suck again.
Dude's next gig after leaving Blizzard was to go to work for Hasan Piker.
I'm glad he put his activism where it belonged instead of in my favorite game.
Although attacking the giant whose shoulders you stood upon to even have a WoW to work on is a bit much.
On the topic of "Forever" naming, in my opinion it should be policed but equally. Slap people on the wrist and give them 2-3 chances to rename before a suspension/ban if a name is truly bad. Bias cannot go into this process.
