@franklinlorax#apesenergy My room heater is pretty old, so I always make sure to unplug it when I use it; otherwise, it would be sure to leak phantom volts.
After I’m done using my lamp, I unplug the cords to prevent phantom watts. It’s the power that appliances use while plugged in, even if they’re turned off. This can prevent the amount of CO2 going into the atmosphere and lower the cost of energy bills! @franklinlorax#apesenergy

This lamp runs on electricity generated mainly from the burning of coal! The coal heats water within the power plant, subsequently spinning a turbine and creating electricity!

Plants are a great way to decrease erosion from rain or snow, and while this plant does live indoors, it certainly keeps the soil together!
the grand canyon is a huge canyon in arizona caused by erosion from the colorado river cutting through layers of rock. it was the Colorado River and the wind that caused the surface of the sedimentary rocks to become exposed and erode over time. #apesland@franklinlorax
these are definitely real wisteria flowers ;) to get their bright and healthy flowers the seeds need to be planted in soil that has good drainage and good levels of potassium, phosphorus, and nitrogen :00 #apesland@franklinlorax
Having an engine with eco boost increases fuel efficiency and decreases ecological footprint. Cars with better gas mileage help protect the earth for generations to come. @franklinlorax#apespop

The world population has steadily climbed over the years, and in order for humans to continue living on Earth, we must find sustainable ways to make sure our population doesn't end up destroying our planet.
This adorable little fluff of mine is a k-strategist who has fewer, larger offspring with lots of parental care to ensure their survival when they go out on their own. According to my parents, the carrying capacity for our home is just 1 dog😔 @franklinlorax#apeseco

That's not a blanket, that's a dog! Her natural fuzzy coat perfectly imitates an afghan in our house, but had she lived in the wild, it likely would have made her stick out among the trees 😂
