@brundle_fly Horrible. This is what is meant by "indoctrination" of children! That kid mimicked what he heard his parents saying. Parents, turn the mirror on yourselves. If you raise kids who think this way, you're doing a lousy job and I pity you and him.
@JeffDickie@EDRRNetON@InvSp@invspecies@TRCA_Monitoring@greenbeltca@Oakvillegreen Time for the province and municipalities to design a program so citizens can deal with and dispose of DSV. To avoid it winding up in municipal composting instead of the garbage, why not a seasonal, free DSV Disposal and Awareness Day? https://t.co/MtWKSHMY5G
@LeftyCaretaker@UofTTrashTeam@johnwanless@EcoSchoolsTDSB@TDSB_STEM@tdsb Quite right. Children learn by example. I am frustrated by how little mention and attention breaking people's habit of littering receives. And I see plenty of evidence that young people litter too. Some will blame their parents.

@LBFlyawayhome@Litterxchange@KeepBritainTidy We can never have too much education for this. Here's what we had for pedestrian safety 60 years ago - an elementary school safety campaign that stuck with me for life: Elmer the Safety Elephant. On the back of every student notebook.
