We were delighted to see our Founder Danny Lucas take part in an important debate today on @GMB today surrounding a revolutionary piece of new law set to shake up Britain’s Litter Crisis. @cleanupbritain
Appeal to all our followers - please like this post from @cleanupbritain and let’s drive more disruptive change to penalise the litter louts ruining our country.
We’re lobbying for Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology (ANPR) to be made mandatory, and printed on all drive-thru packaging. If your packaging is littered it’ll be cross-checked with DVLA records and you’ll be fined. We’re lovin’ it! 😂
Great to see Littergram founder Danny Lucas interviewed by the BBC this weekend highlighting the Adopted Zone scheme. By taking constructive action we are raising much needed awareness and driving change to a broken system as highlighted through the failings of #tonbridgecouncil which is a snapshot of the problems across Britain. #litter @cleanupbritain
Uh oh! Be prepared to see our lovely Adopted Zone destroyed by unsupervised @KentHighways contractors who will litter the whole area with discarded cones, sandbags, barriers and signs funded for by the tax paying public. We’ve even seen them white line over the top of litter and unswept verges. #unaccountable #dontcare
Misleading signs in #TonbridgeAndMalling. In a Freedom of Information response they disclosed 1673 reported flytips cleared at a cost of £106k to taxpayer with no fines or prosecutions. When asked how many CCTV cameras they had the answer was 0 (ZERO). These signs are just a lie that allow them to keep on underperforming. #criminal #breachofduty
This #lowlife was seen on CCTV emptying the contents of his van and heavily trashing a private business estate in Kent on 11/3/23 @ 7:30am. No surprise the vehicle has no MOT so is not insured. #scumbag#tosser@cleanupbritain
What happened to pride and professionalism @TMBC_Kent ??? CLEARLY, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY.
There are appallingly filthy signs like this all over your patch and, indeed, all over Kent.

@Snookersarah@kelvmackenzie Political BS is laughable. For 10 yrs zero service and no show in the 2 yrs since. 3 days every month 50 bags are filled. Just turn up on the 27 days in between & save this man £2k a month doing TMBC’s job. Requests appeals and petitions spanning 2 yrs all ignored at every level.
Please sign this petition and help us and @cleanupbritain put pressure on National Highways to introduce litter fines on Britain's main roads. https://t.co/yEIcJLwQwu
@Kent_cc Focussing on the wrong area as aways. Official stats via an FOI from all KCC councils ref flytipping - 86,000 fly tips in last 3 years, £4.6m clear up costs to tax payers, less than 1% fined and only 1 prosecution. You couldn’t run a tap let alone keep the county clean.
@TarkaThomas@LucasUKGroup 7 people from 7am until midday on a Sunday morning & now just an hour a week for 1 person. Making it absoloutley clear it is an adopted zone with proper signs (12 in total - cost £150) has driven a clear message. Imagine what the authorities could achieve if they actually worked!
BROKEN WINDOWS THEORY PROVED! Since @LucasUKGroup adopted London Rd, Wrotham, the area has remained litter-free and has returned to it's natural beauty. Even the layby has gone from being a rubbish dump to a nature reserve. LITTER ATTRACTS LITTER. #BrokenWindows#BrokenBritain
More hard hitting facts that demonstrate complete neglect and incompetence by @KentHighways, #TonbridgeCouncil and the local MP. Hats off to @LucasUKGroup for taking ownership away from them and putting pride back in the local community. 👏👏👏👏👏
