@JennaLizzy@CommieDG@queerlara@datadriven_tdoc@Torificallytori Every interaction I’ve ever had with Laura @CommieDG has always been chill as hell. You deserve to have a place where you can kickback/feel some comfort, Jenna! Fuck everyone sowing ill will into your life. The best way to combat these people is to live fully without remorse
She was 19.
She had her whole life ahead of her and a transphobic man stabbed her 40 times.
The media demonises and dehumanises us. They call us parasites and dangerous, to make us acceptable targets.
But we need to live and remember the victims.
RIP Juniper.
once ppl exhibit symptoms of uncontrolled mental illness bc they cant access their meds, the US gov will use it as an excuse to jail them and put them in asylums
@weimarmoder marital / corrective rape, domestic abuse, social ostracisation- these are all things that ace people will be at a higher risk of than someone who's cishet, and these are often institutionalised (especially marital rape which is not even recognised as rape in many places)
@JennaSpeaksUp You sound like you're talking about HR operations for a corporate entity, rather than human rights for a marginalised minority population
Also everyone is “bad”, you can miss me with the morality policing and the purity culture propaganda, “go on and justify to yourself why you arent bad”, bullshit because I pointed out that your empathy is atrophied by the same standard you are trying to hold others to.
No, what we have is different values. As a person “born trans”, as you put it, and unlike you, I have empathy for All trans people, not just the trans people who are “trans just like me”.
@alyssa__belle The people exploiting you are exploiting the people you wish exploited for having not “suffered” to your standard, which is again an empathy problem. You’re an accomplice to the systems that hurt you to begin with. You are not a gauge for which suffering is measured by in others.
If you think others need to suffer like you did to get help they need, then what you have is an empathy problem and you are perpetuating a cycle of trauma rather than breaking it. If you cared about trans people, you would want to ensure no one has to suffer the way you did.
So... just so we're clear... you want me to be afraid of trans women in the women's bathroom because they might be cis men pretending so they can assault women and children... and you think this reflects on... trans women... and not on cis men?
Do I have this correct?
