After 30 years of been in the family, my late grandads reliant van is on its way to Spicers Auctioneers at Goole, where hopefully it will find a new loving owner.
So many great memories with grandad in this van, which totally rebuilt.

Back running one of my favourite routes. First run in 10 days though and my handy is still in tatters, so not sure how many more runs I’ll get in this visit.
Snowdon International Race - 84/468.
Shortened race due to the winds, so the race was just over 6miles this year, so it was a faster effort.
I felt really strong on the climb, but I wasn’t quick enough on the descent.
I’m already looking forward to next year.

Despite the gale force winds of 30mph+ on the summit, and the niggles I’ve been carrying the last month, I somehow ran 30 seconds faster than my previous best here, and came home in 16th. Happy days.
DCRO Dash fell race last night.
A first for me this one, and it was a toughie. My Achilles is still not right and the discomfort it was causing took the fun out of the race, but the view as you sat at the finish was worth it.
Another part of the country I’ve never explored before until today, Eastleigh. I found a cracking trail route, some of it a bit overgrown resulting in lots of nettle stings, but great run nonetheless.
Back at the Bamford sheepdog trials Fell Race today, the race where my fell running journey all started 8 years ago. My 7th time doing the race, and it was one of my quicker ones, and finishing 20th overall. Another blinding day out, one of my faves this one.
Great to be back at the Trunce last night for round 4 of the series, with me missing the last two. Unbelievably I took a wrong turning, and fell in the river crossing, but still managed to be quicker than my last outing by 40 seconds. I’m getting some speed back 😃
Back at parkrun after 9 weeks absence, and it felt so good to be back. I wish I could make more Saturday mornings here.
My fastest time since august too, the change it training, diet and lifestyle seems to be working.
