I havenβt posted on here for a while. Update on #notmycat is now officially our cat. Kitkat has a forever home with us. Heβs been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped & now spends all day in the sun & all night on my bed πββ¬β€οΈ
Thank you to all the staff at @Morrisons for helping my 90 year old mum on Friday. She fell in their store & the staff were amazing and kind. Thank you also to the kind gentleman who helped lift her. Your kindness was appreciated πβ€οΈπ
#KindnessMatters
Kitkat is now a fully fledged member of the family. He likes to snooze a lot & stretch his legs. Heβs even decided to take over the guinea pig bed even though itβs a tad small πββ¬π₯°π€£π€£
When you hurt genuinely kind people, you might not see an immediate reaction.
They wonβt raise their voice, make accusations, or cause a scene.
Instead, theyβll carry their pain silently, showing the same warmth and compassion they always have.
But deep down, something has shifted.
Theyβll start to distance themselves, not in anger but in quiet acceptance.
Slowly, theyβll create space, walking away without any dramatic goodbyes, and they wonβt look back.
These are the people who valued you deeply, who trusted you without question.
When that trust is broken, it doesnβt shatter, it fades away, leaving them with no choice but to protect their peace.
They wonβt stop being kind or lose their gentle nature, but theyβll never see you the same way again.
Remember, losing a kind heart is losing something irreplaceable.
Cherish them while you can, because once theyβre gone, theyβre truly gone.
@French_Eddy22 I totally get this. Not sure if it would help, but listening to guided meditation while I fall asleep has improved my sleep a lot. Hope things get better for you πππ
#Shirleythecat πββ¬ is on the mend. Eating well, however unhappy at being caged up πΎ
I really feel for her π
I don't believe she knows she has a leg missing.
Will be most grateful if you can share this please ‡οΈ
