We’re working on a secret thing and need some bottle messages. Do you have a short message you’d like to include? Up to 20 words plus your name or alias. Our favourites will be printed in the secret thing forever!
I don’t usually go overboard about people on the telly. But we all grew up with this brilliant man. He’s an educator, who has enriched all our lives, helping us to better understand this world and thus ourselves. Happy birthday, chief.
I started so many novels when I was younger, but I'm very glad I was nearly 50 when I committed myself to it. Age brings a bit of wisdom and perspective and lived experience. I know lots of agents feel the same. 50 is a VERY GOOD age to write a novel. Go for it!
Hey Everyone,
I am absolutely buzzing! to announce the audiobook of A Working Class State of Mind is now available on audible.
I would really appreciate if people could rt this and help spread the word.

We had the best fun yesterday with local children's books authors and lots of enthusiastic wee ones at the #LittleLibrary event organised by #BroadstairsBeacon at Mr Lemonheads in Broadstairs! Thank you everyone, for a wonderful afternoon.
We are so lucky to be so supported by local authors and our wonderful community. Yesterday Julie Leonard, author of William the Caterpillar, donated more copies of her beautiful children's book and neighbours popped in several more.

Jan has painted our shelves blue and Susie Darnton has very kindly given us some copies of her beautiful book, 'there's a sandwitch on the beach'. Life is good. That's the tweet.
@chrishorn1978 @broadietownshed So much writing talent here in Thanet. Who knew! It was lovely to meet everyone. Chris can you please share these with your writers?
@chrishorn1978 @broadietownshed I shall be there in the afternoon Chris but not for the quiz. I just checked with the other custodians and unfortunately due to a combination of factors (Covid, holidays and visitors) I don't think any of us can be there in the evening.
