Many people still donโt realize that literacy isnโt just about being able to read. Itโs about being able to comprehend, evaluate, and apply the information in front of you. The gap between the two is becoming increasingly alarming.
@melinoestale Because I'm a guiri is the only explanation I've been offered ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Or because I come from the same country as bad tourists. Or because I replied in English to your post in English... who fucking knows
there is something incredibly satisfying about reading the first page of a book, and immediately something in your brain sits up and goes 'oh, i'm going to like this' โ and then every subsequent page proves you right.
I don't like the autotranslation feature. Bad enough seeing English racists post about hating brown people, now I have to see all the Spanish racists hating on guiris too
@melinoestale And for guiris who do the same things as you... why are you telling me I'm part of the problem? I don't do any of the things you've listed, nor do I condone others doing the same. I'm not even a tourist, I live and pay taxes in Spain.
@hispanicnomad If you're using median for US you should use the same for Spain. You should also use the figure that is for full time workers only if that's what you're using for the US. (that would be โฌ25k-โฌ28k for Spain)
