I think one of the hardest things is being the new kid in a class midyear. The class can be welcoming but you don't understand the jokes & the culture that's been built over the last 5 months.

Then you when you joke you just cross the line.

Never mind the fact our other cousin was invited & so were the people shes told me she just doesn't get along with or like.

But then they invited their new bff who's about my age & also single.

My cousin said she's going to invite everyone to everything cuz she's tired of people complaining about feeling left out (Um that makes me feel wanted)

I'm usually one who stays positive and strong in times of Trial. I don't complain and I refuse to feel sorry for myself but today fucking sucks.

One of my favorite students passed away Sunday night. My lil homie. The one who always reminded me why I teach.

I'm a 25 year old who looks 18 and I got called old today by a 11 year old because I remember a time before Drake was a rapper and was instead just an actor on Degrassi.

It all started because the kid said Drake is too old to rap and should retire 😂

I love my friends but I kinda enjoyed the last couple days with them not being at the school. It was nice today to just breathe on my own at lunch instead of chatting. Is that bad?
