This ain’t easy to share and I doubt anyone cares but this past two years I’ve probably faced the most adversity of my entire life.

Whether it’s the brutal divorce of my parents, my step father embezzling family money abroad and ruining our strong bond, a five year relationship with my ex ending (when I genuinely thought we were getting engaged), or getting laid off unexpectedly — I’ve honestly been thrown in the ringer a bit compared to my early years.

And there’s more I could name to be honest… But it’s okay. I’m not here to play the victim.

I’m sharing this message so you know whatever you’re dealing with, you’ll be alright.

Because I know I will be too. And on top of everything I noted, I had a little spout with depression that really I owe my Psychedelics Anonymous family for helping me through. If you ever need some moral support, hit me up. I’m on your team. Life ain’t meant to be easy.

As a friend shared with me:

“Every part of the path is a gift to embrace, even the unfavorable experiences.”

It may suck, but in the grand scheme it’s all beautiful. So take in the struggle, the pain, and the beauty. It’s so worth it.

Because that moment when you realize you control your attitude and no one else is simply transcendent.
