We love our visitors here in the Yorkshire Dales. BUT, please be responsible and stay at home for a little while - we will still be here in a few weeks.
#InItTogether
#Servicetweet - Heavy rain and increased water levels mean currently no Garsdale Service. Wensleydale running at the moment, and awaiting Swaledale update.
Please take care and #travelsafe.
*SERVICE UPDATE*
Hawes Voyager - Running, but avoiding Worton and Aysgarth Bottoms.
Swaledale Shuttle - Currently running between Reeth & Richmond, will keep giving updates.
Garsdale Service - Can run as normal but disruptions on railway lines so please check travel arrangements.
There's some incredibly devastating #flood damage this morning. We will endeavour to run services where we can.
Please be aware of #landslides on the #SettleCarlisle railway line affecting train services and collapsed roads in #Swaledale.
We hope everyone was able to #StaySafe.
SEVERE DISRUPTION.
Please be aware - flash flooding across Richmondshire, significant disruption to the Swaledale Shuttle as a result of collapsed walls and extensive diversions with the emergency services in attendance. Sincere apologies. #staysafe
#Garsdale Service:
There is a tree down in the road near Cotterdale so we have had to come back via the Coal Road & Dent. This means unfortunately we cannot get back to Garsdale in reasonable time for the last train.
We apologise for the inconvenience.

Today we think of Ian Wattley, one of our two new Operations Managers who suddenly passed away on June 27th. He is being laid to rest today in Nottingham.
We send love and strength to Josie and Ian's family. We miss his bright, funny, caring soul. Love, TEAM LWB.

We are devastated to learn the news this morning that @votejohnblackie has passed away, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
In true John style, it will be business as usual across the services, but please bear with us.
You will be very sadly missed, John xxx
