I have a deep respect for peopleโs privacy. I can be very close to someone for years and still not know everything about them, and I never feel the need to ask. It isnโt a lack of interest. I simply believe that if someone hasnโt chosen to share something, then it isnโt my place to ask. Some things are personal, and respecting that boundary is one of the purest forms of respect.
Once you cut people out of your life, you need to become very comfortable with them talking bad and making things up about you. They will fill your silence and your absence with stories that make them feel better about losing access to you. People rarely take accountability when it's easier to paint you as the villain.
This month has been incredibly heavy.
I canโt pretend otherwise. Iโve caught myself desperately searching for a little peace, crying at 2 a.m., wondering what is wrong with me. Iโve been doing everything I can to stay strong, but some nights, the weight of it all feels unbearable. My mind is exhausted, my heart feels worn out, and sometimes I donโt even know how Iโm still moving forward. Still, Iโm here. Even on the days when I feel completely lost, I keep choosing to fight through the quiet battles that no one else can see.
