I had to nip in to #Newbury yesterday & picked up this excellent book from a charity shop I trailed in to. I've found a few recipes already I'm keen to try but today is all about sorting my 2020-21 accounts 💤 @CornExchange
Family dinner at the weekend on potentially the last glorious day before autumn bit, pictured before & after. We had such a lovely evening. So nice to g2g after so long. We toasted about 5 major events but oh, the pots! I was up in to the early hours getting sorted
Another long gap. I have to keep reinstalling twitter on my android when it starts to crash repeatedly. I've been busy with work but still managing to bake & dine out. Highlights since Paris @thewoodspeen & vegan feast at my daughter's wedding
I've been a bit lax about adding my foodie updates. It's been so busy. I didn't document my recent trip to #Paris. Let's lead with that. Wonderful #Italian#restaurant#Review https://t.co/UhiUDX8Fq3 #portobello#lafrette
And finally the wonderful, friendly local #duo Scampy who were serenading everyone https://t.co/CjlqyqbTOc. I always ask the stallholders/musicians if I can take their picture & let them know it's going out over the internet. It's only courteous #acoustic#music#keepmusiclive
Look at that sky. The rain held off while we were there. Slightly muggy with little spits of rain. A lot of work goes into organising, setting up & striking the stalls so it's gr8 to see the local support @HungerfordFoodF
Madly busy this past week but I did squeeze in a new recipe, get out for walks & coffee & cake at Camp Hopson, #Newbury, make pea & ham soup & plum, apple & star anise ice cream. Can't decide which way the weather is going #SaturdayMorning
