You know why I love this app? It’s because you get to learn things whether you like it or not.
Only from this tweet have I learned that the movie “Gang Of Lagos” is in court for a costume they used in the movie. The producers (and Amazon) got hit with a lawsuit from the Isale-Eko Descendants Union over how the movie portrayed the Eyo Masquerade and the Isale-Eko community. The court basically ruled they misrepresented the culture, turning a revered tradition into something tied to gangs and violence. They were ordered to publicly apologize, and there were calls to pull the film.
Also, I was reminded of the past times where a movie is released and the producers get sued because they tried to be real with every element of the acting and the public calls for the movie to be taken down. The wonders you see in Nigeria!
A movie was made and all everyone is more concerned about is the prison uniform worn on set, not the acting and execution. Just because it didn’t suit your supposed narrative, you all labeled it “unfit and poor researching” instead of calling out your government that loves hiding its failures in poor policies and intimidation.
Well, what do I know? But one thing I know is I’m definitely watching this movie. Did you all see the actors’ lineup? Menhhhh 🔥
We just treated someone that had heart failure due to Late stage(TERTIARY SYPHILLIS).
Her W*ore husband gave her the infection and she didn’t know for years, so it grew and destroyed her body.

Even the best couples will eventually “fall out of love” if they do not take necessary measures to keep the flame burning. This is because what most people describe as “falling out of love” is simply failing to choose each other, as many times as necessary, over an extended period of time.
Often, this isn’t even by choice or deliberate intention. They simply get carried away trying to meet life’s numerous responsibilities, and, unconsciously, love begins to feel like the one thing that could take a back seat. “They’d understand, right? We’ve already got each other. What we have is good. We’ll be fine.”
What many don’t realize is this: Everyday that goes by without conversations deeper than routine check-ins and updates, every month that goes by without cozy, romantic dates to reconnect, every week without thoughtful gestures that serve as reminders of just how much you mean to each other, the distance grows and you slowly become more of acquaintances than lovers. Until, one random afternoon, the realization dawns like a strange epiphany, “I’m no longer in love with them. They no longer make me happy.”
Don’t let this be your story. Love is in the doing. Actions cultivate feelings. So, keep doing, and watch that love feel brand new forever.
Nonetheless, if you’re already at this point, know that there’s hope yet. Love can always be rekindled—as long as you both are willing and ready to put in the work🌺
LAZINESS can kill a relationship. no, you’re not CHEATING. but there’s also NO FLOWERS, no SURPRISES, no APPRECIATION posts, no SWEET MESSAGES, no DATES (unless your s/o practically BEGS for them). so yes, the truth is LAZINESS can SLOWLY kill LOVE. sometimes, simply being LOYAL just isn’t ENOUGH
