(Please forward to Mark Carney, he needs some help with geography and trade.)
@MarkJCarney
My daughter and I made 12 jars of pickled peppers today. These are serranos with a couple cayennes and a habanero. Others have jalapenos with fresno and a habanero. The jalapeno, serrano, and cayenne were grown in our garden.
Right now we buy 99% of our rare earth minerals from China. Only one mine in America but Greenland has more than any other country. Our Northern border is virtually open and always has been. Impossible to secure adequately. Canada has tons of forests and huge amounts of oil and gas. China has been buying up most of their farmland and native Canadians are supporting this. Our southern border is a mess and building a wall won’t change that. Most Central American countries are getting cozy with China and they also has tons of oil, gas and beaches. We can’t protect Alaska with China stopping us from getting there and they will if we let them continue the way they are in Canada. Securing the continent is securing America because if the Northern passage does open up then Russia will be closer to us than Europe is across the Atlantic.
California could easily solve their water and power issues. Build a huge desalination plant system outside of Stockton and the world’s largest solar farm to power it. It would revitalize Stockton and redevelop the inland valley work force and depleted farmland. This would cost far less than the high speed rail has wasted.

This is the woman you all were sending prayers and good vibe to.
(The one without the hat)
She’s doing great today after a hip replacement surgery and already able to walk intermittently without assistance from a walker.
The best part is we have lots of friends and we have even more food that they’re all sending us 😋 😂
Thanks to everyone for all your kind words!
