She’s quietly pottering around her office at UNIT. Part of her misses travelling but right now, this job is at least keeping her occupied

eyes travel up to find liv as she slowly nods. “i could do with a hand.” the words stick together, she isn’t the best at that - asking for help.

she’s not feeling great, hand over nose to stop a sneeze but continues on with her work. these aliens won’t catch themselves.

Liv gave her a reassuring smile as the girl unwound, checking her over as gently as possible she narrated every detail of what she did.

“Of course, you can stay here as long as you need. It’s my job to look after people”

“Yeah they do . I’ve tried to tell them that people just might not want to know sensitive medical info like that” she sighs, hoping Peri would know that she wasn’t in control of that particular area.

“Oh, me? Yeah I’m doing fine. I’ve seen a lot in my time. Comes with the job”

“I promise you” Liv told her with a genuine smile “And believe me, I take great care in keeping my promises”
“Now let’s have a look” she gently reassured her

Liv feels her concern grow, a gentle pat on the others back for comfort.
“It’s okay, I promise I’ll do my best to help. You’re safe here”

looks at her with concern.
“are you okay to sit down?” She pats a seat, getting some things together

Though she mostly enjoyed keeping to herself, it was nice to have a chat to someone in a non life threatening situation.

“You too. Oh yeah that did not look pleasant, hope you all got cleaned up okay”

Well, she wouldn’t be doing her job if she didn’t come and check on her after their last encounter. But it’s also nice for Liv to have a break and a chat, she mostly keeps to herself around UNIT.

“Hey, it’s just Liv” she announces upon entering, offering a small smile

Hoping that someone notices she didn’t turn up for work or to the tardis today. she’s too unwell to get in contact

“Oof, I do not envy you” she nodded, having had her own experiences with that.

“Things have been quiet thankfully. I figured there must’ve been an issue with them, but glad you got back mostly unharmed” she’s still a little concerned, naturally

She raised an eyebrow, but stayed silent. They weren’t really close enough for her to feel comfortable pushing.
“Well that’s good” she nodded “Still, can’t have been too pleasant”

“No worries, a good medtech is always prepared” Liv said with a smile. She watched her, unsure if she should offer any assistance.
“Are you okay? That’s quite a lot of blood”
