"Teacher Appreciation" is cool, but no amount of free coffees and discounts will make teachers feel as appreciated as paying them their worth and providing all the resources that they need.

I will gladly trade "Teacher Appreciation Week" for higher pay and more resources.

I'm not opposed to the free market. But if there's a sub shortage, a teacher shortage, a bus driver shortage, and a special education aide shortage? That's a supply and demand issue pointing straight to the need for higher wages and better treatment.
