Hi LivLivers – we trust everyone is doing okay.
As shared in the previous dev update, we said we’ll go deeper into the modules, and so we’ve continued to push into the core system architecture, with this phase focused on formalising the entry stack of the LivLive ecosystem, specifically the transition from system initialisation > secure access > identity creation > hardware synchronisation.
At the application entry layer, our Splash Screen has been defined as a functional system gateway rather than a passive loading state. On launch, the client initiates a sequence of checks, including session validation, AR module bootstrapping, Wearable connectivity status, and environment readiness. This ensures that every session begins from a verified baseline before routing logic determines whether the user proceeds into auth or directly into the main experience. This layer is critical for maintaining state integrity, device readiness, and consistency across sessions.
The auth framework has been structured as a multi-path access system supporting both traditional credentials and Oauth providers (Google, Apple, etc) with the core attributes such as time validation pipelines, structured error handling, account conflict resolution, and automated credential recovery flows. From a system perspective, this layer is designed to balance low-friction onboarding with tight identity integrity, ensuring that every account entering the ecosystem is uniquely identifiable and secure.
Following successful auth, the system transitions into the Onboarding & Profile Initialisation, which is where LivLive begins constructing both the user’s digital identity and their link to the physical world.
On the identity side, users will establish a persistent Player Name and avatar representation, which becomes their visible presence across leaderboards, social feeds, and AR interactions. The avatar system is structured to support asset layering, and customisation states - the foundation for future digital ownership and visual progression.
In parallel, the onboarding flow initiates the wearable pairing via BLE, creating the first handshake between the mobile client and the wearable layer. This is a critical step, as it enables ‘proof-of-movement’ validation, ensuring that future actions, rewards, and progression are tied to verified real-world activity rather than simulated input.
The system also captures interest mapping inputs, which are used to seed personalisation models that influence quest discovery, content surfacing, and engagement pathways. This allows the experience to dynamically adapt based on user intent from the very beginning.
To complete the onboarding loop, users are guided through an AR tutorial, introducing core interaction mechanics such as activation of the 'GO' state and environmental discovery. This ensures that users are not only onboarded technically but also operationally ready to engage with the LivLive world.
What’s important across this phase is that these modules are not built as isolated flows, but as a continuous, state-driven pipeline where each step feeds into the next. Initialisation validates the environment, authentication establishes identity, onboarding personalises the experience, and hardware synchronisation anchors everything to real-world behaviour.
Till next time, be safe.

Hey LivLivers!
Given the geopolitical tensions and conflict across the region, the environment has become incredibly challenging for the market, our team, and for Web3 more broadly. We've been paying close attention to the impacts, and we feel the responsible thing to do right now is to pause the pre-sale while we take stock and assess all available options.
Whilst we navigate the best path forward for this project and for this community, we want to make sure we get that right before communicating further.
During this period, no new pre-sale entries will be processed. If you're already in, we will provide an update on next steps.
As always, all updates will be shared in here with our community as we move through.
Thank you for your patience and support.
LL Team
