This is a horrendous situation and disturbing thread to read. My thoughts with Jane, Cat and her family.
Sadly other than potential legal action it's very tough to know what can be done. It is possible to try to raise emergency situation with Ombudsman but that's unlikely to resolve much at the speed needed.
Hopefully the publicity a situation like this can and should get will put pressure on the insurer to review its decision.
@frankcottrell_b I wouldnβt expect a reply from Merseyrail. (See my tweets from yesterday). There are various tweets about this now online and a video of interview with a witness. There is also an article in the Metro about the stabbing. Take care.
Merseyrail are potentially putting commuters at danger by failing to report knife incidents at their stations. They did not reply to a question about it. Later on they tweeted again, a query regarding the incident was made again in case the previous one was missed. They deleted
that post then reposted the same tweet. This was raised and then they reposted a third time but took comments and replies off. Please stay vigilant if using their services Liverpool as it would be evident that they do not care about our safety.
