@chudcueid @Kannas_Ricebowl Lmao where did the author justify Eren’s actions? Because I remember the author making it a point to use Hange as a medium to declare that there was no justification for genocide, yet people like you still miss the point. Hell, not even Eren thinks his actions are justifiable.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya You also didn't answer my question. Are you saying Code geass "is ONE of the most entertaining" or just "the most entertaining ever"? because those are not the same sentence. I would disagree with the latter, but agree with the former.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya Lmao "acceptable answers"? You're not a judge of what's entertaining or not. I would argue Naruto, jjk, demon slayer, chainsw man, dragon ball, solo leveling, and many more are entertaining as hell. I'm not arguing whether they are well written or not, just purely entertainment.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya I think you're misunderstanding my comment. First of all I'm not lecturing you about the writing quality of the show, I'm specifically talking about the entertainment value. Secondly, I agree with your last sentence, but that's not what I was arguing at all.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya Also, do you mean "Code geass is ONE of the most entertaining" or just "the most entertaining ever", because those are not the same sentence. I would disagree with the latter, but agree with the former.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya You literally said: "Code Geass is THE most entertaining Sci-Fi anime" that sentence is specifically highlighting sci-fi as its core element of why it is entertaining. If you had said: "Code geass is one of the most entertaining anime in general", this would be a different convo.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya I agree, Sex sells, but when it's appropriate and doesn't take away from the writing of the show, which Code geass imo does, especially with how much fan-service hurts it female characters. Whether you think Code geass is more entertaining than steins gate or Bepop is subjective.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya Because when you specifically highlight sci-fi as it genre element, you're drawing the writing towards that specificity. If you had said drama, or just in general, then this would not even be a conversation, I'm a generalist too, but that's not what I had contentions with.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya Everything you stated here can also be found on the stories I mentioned, and most of all, those aspects are also found on it it science fiction part of the series, not just the dramatic elements. Except for maybe fan service, that's distasteful.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya Lmao "wrong"? What is your objective criteria for me being wrong? All the entertaining elements of code geass does not come from the series being Sci-fi, they come from it being melodrama, cause its scientific elements are the most boring and less explored of the entire series.
@JADENFORPREZ@NINtendo_maya I'm not sure i agree with the "most entertaining sci-fi" imo Ghost in a shell, psycho pass, Legend of the galactic heroes, cowboy bepop, ID invaded, steins Gate, Vivy, are far more entertaining in terms of sci-fi than code geass.
@Sissy_mila2@jakobdaniel6@DiscussingFish Obviously I think WTD has much better horror, and the tension and stakes are far higher due to the lack of plot armour of the characters, but stranger things season 1 was absolutely amazing in terms of horror too, but if we're comparing ST overall, then WTD stomps badly in horror
