@GregAbbott_TX This wasn't parents making a choice. This was a choice made for the parents.. distractions, lack of engagement, and disruptive behavior have always existed. Kids will adapt back to things they did when they didnt have their phones. Most of it disrupted the entire class instead.
@GregAbbott_TX are we providing funding for more resource officers? With 1 land land per classroom, stands to reason we need more security. Infusing schools with more funding for correspondence? I expect to not be getting app notifications or social media exclusive communication
@KathyHochul Lol as the kid that hid in the bathroom and read in corners or just watched the tiles on the floor til they blurred.. the mental health line is a cute excuse. Theres just less evidence to produce for abuse. Kids that dont pay attention still wont. Theyll just be more disruptive
@mcuban I do hope cost of living was taken into account.. I've seen folks get 50 cent raises and cross the line between qualifying and not qualifying, but not nearly enough to afford their full rent, full priced groceries, medical coverage, etc and end up back on the streets.
@DanPatrick Proximity of gas stations selling alcohol in pretty cans to schools. GO. it's funny that youre off to the races to ban thc but not alcohol which has absolutely zero benefit.. addictive.. has a tendency to illicit violent reactions while under the influence.. but go on about thc
@facebook great job being a 100s of billions of $$s worth of a co. & having the worst customer support I have ever seen. Lost a 14 yr old account + business page to hackers, bypassed 2 factor authentication and changed my email and phone #. No reply from any recovery attempts.
