@nikkitibbs @feltnerm @smwc I absolutely agree that SAMR can be used for educator self-awareness and reflection. I need a system in place to help me to check that I am doing the best and most that I can for my students technologically because education is so different now than when I was in K-12.
@feltnerm @smwc A4: Education without differentiation does not allow for each student to gain the education that he or she needs. Each lesson that is taught should be differentiated in order to meet the learning abilities of ALL students. #SMWCED115
@feltnerm @smwc A3: Technology was not used much in my education. I am OLD. SAMR is a perfect framework for me to use to ensure that I integrate technology at every level. If I did what my teachers did (due to lack of technology) student learning and engagement would be nonexistent #SMWCED115
@feltnerm @smwc Also, I just realized that I did not follow directions. I am breaking one of my cardinal rules, "Always check and follow the directions!" Shame on me! I should have been responding A1, A2, and so on!
@feltnerm @smwc Q2: We are teaching in a technological world. Without utilizing SAMR, we are not meeting students where they are. Technology engages students. SAMR helps us as teachers to expand on a learning environment that we may not have been a part of #SMWCED115
@feltnerm @smwc A1: It is important to use SAMR when planning lessons to ensure that we are using technology in the most effective and innovative ways to improve and enhance student learning. #SMWCED115
