@aanthonymax thiss! idk if anyone's tried omniscio (its beta now) but its completely model agnostic so you can mix whatever subscriptions you have. anyone know of other platforms like that?

@ShalsX clear writing, like just being able to say exactly what you mean in plain words. sounds boring but it's carried my whole career lol and it matters even more now that everyone's talking to AI all day long

@shirshakchavan design taste, easily. it can generate something functional in seconds but it has no real sense of what actually looks good so everything ends up looking the same unless you push back hard and add your own HUMAN taste

@erden_xi honestly the sharing is usually why i follow in the first place. plenty of founders are impressive but if they never show any of the how, i just admire from a distance like theres no way to kinda "connect" i guess

everyone says use AI to write your social media content. thats genuinely some of the WORST advice going right now

so many people are using AI and mostly the very same models by now that its just instantly obvious. the em dashes, the "it's not x it's y", the emoji bullet lists, the "deep" closers / maxim endings or whatever that mean nothing. It all reads the same and its such a turn off for me.

Wiriting your own posts is slower yeah, but at least it sounds like YOU and not like a prompt.

yep. ive been doing marketing for quite long and the stuff that actually helped was always boring. updating a google ads product feeds manually, making the contact forms actually send, replying to reviews as humans, not robots etc. plus google sheets is surprisingly better for lots of thigns than many "revolutionary" ai workflows haha

@kirtandopamine as an marketing person this is bang on. same job as always: work out what people respond to and get it in front of them. AI just does the busywork now so you move way waaay faster

@eliana_jordan as someone who's been doing marketing for years and now builds too: 100%. i can get an app built in a day but getting even 10 people to genuinely care about it is still takes me ages plus you have so many possible distro channels its so hard to stick to 1 and really master that

Day 6/30 of building an app a day for 30 days

This one lets you snap a photo of any item laying around at home and works out what it's worth to resell and drafts the listing for you on different marketplaces.

made it for myself primarily - i own waay too much stuff and have 0 patience for selling it the normal way😅

honestly the app was the easy part. now i just have to become someone who actually sells their stuff..

@oldstackjournal interesting! Thanks for sharing! I also often ask it to red team/play the devils advocate for my plans from both a developer and a end-user pov, helps to find stuff i hadnt thought of

I used to build my apps and tools the dumb way: describe what i want, let the AI run, then fight it when it built the wrong thing

I now spend way less time un-breaking stuff since i've flipped it: now i make it write out the full plan first and i approve that before it writes a single line of code. claude's brainstorming skill is perfect for this.

it catches the "that's not what i meant" before it happens instead of after.

Anyone has a similar or even better approach? Really curious!
