The roadhouse that went from serving South Africa’s first hamburgers to being demolished.
Founded in 1935, South Africa’s oldest roadhouse, The Doll House, introduced locals to American dining and served as a beloved meeting spot for over 80 years.
From the 1930s onwards, the American-inspired drive-in restaurant became a landmark in several South African cities.
💯 A proper politician who genuinely has the country’s best interests at heart would let the people decide! 🤔
However we are dealing with the @uklabour charlatans here! Cowards…
The Times have just published a vile hit piece on Restore Britain today - including the full name of Lydia, who volunteers for Restore Britain in London.
As a victim, she gave evidence to the Rape Gang Inquiry.
She was groomed, tortured, kidnapped and trafficked from the age of 15 while in local authority care in Tower Hamlets.
The Times newspaper has published her full name and picture, putting her at huge risk.
I am furious.
I am writing to the editor, demanding an apology and support.
We have offered to provide alternative accommodation and other support for Lydia.
@LibertyLydia's response is this.
"Having survived what happens when you are vulnerable in a community that sees you as subhuman, I know exactly where this road leads.
This cannot continue. The trend must be reversed.
We must Restore Britain."
A brave woman.
The media attacks will continue. Why?
Because we are making immense progress, as demonstrated by the result in Norfolk yesterday.
We will not be intimidated or silenced.
Restore Britain is just getting started.
Cyril Rampaphosa says Mandela Day (that's today) must be a battle against poverty, inequality and injustice... Left his voter, Right one of his houses...
AfriForum wants answers about expensive state-backed “1Mbps” satellite Internet while Starlink exceeds 200Mbps
AfriForum has demanded clarity on the launch of state-backed BrainSAT Satellite Services, which it said offered 1Mbps satellite Internet, while the yet-to-be-licensed Starlink supports speeds over 200Mbps.
On 30 June 2026, Deputy President Paul Mashatile announced the launch of BrainSAT as an independent South African satellite Internet and communications provider.

BREAKING: My brother teacher @EnochBurke has been ordered to pay almost €210,000 in fines by a High Court Judge.
His crime: refusing to accept you can be suspended from your job for not calling a child “they”.
A shameful day for Ireland.
BREAKING: AfriForum is questioning why South Africa is supporting a slower and more expensive satellite internet option over Starlink.
• AfriForum filed a formal information request seeking details on how BrainSAT and its UAE partner, Space42, were selected.
• The Thuraya-4 service reportedly offers speeds of only up to 1 Mbps, while Starlink averages around 241 Mbps with much lower latency.
• A 10 Mbps YahClick plan costs R2,033 per month with a 150GB soft cap and roughly 720ms latency. Meanwhile, uncapped Starlink plans in neighbouring countries start below R500 per month.
The comparison figures and AfriForum’s formal transparency request are reported by MyBroadband and AfriForum.
Dink jy die regering se keuse van tegnologie-vennote moet deur rasvereistes bepaal word?
@AfriForum eis antwoorde oor duur staatsgesteunde "1 Mbps"-satellietinternet terwyl Starlink meer as 200 Mbps lewer.
Dit volg ná adjunkpresident Paul Mashatile se onlangse aankondiging van die bekendstelling van BrainSAT Satellite Services, 'n Suid-Afrikaanse staatsgesteunde satellietinternetdiens.

Zero streetlights and a minefield of excavations cost 51 year old Hugo van Der Berg from Secunda his life in Pretoria on Saturday night.
While returning from the rugby at Loftus, Hugo fell into one of the many open excavations left open by construction by the City of Tshwane.
Thousands of spectators leaving Loftus stadium had to navigate literal deathtraps to get to their cars. Pitch black due to no streetlights and zero proper blockages or markings. Hugo was the third person to fall into the excavations.
Despite numerous warnings to the Metro, Mayor and MMC. Absolutely zero was done. They have yet to even go to the scene or issue a statement.
It's too late now. They should have deployed immediately. What a tragedy. Please keep this man's family in your prayers.
Totally avoidable. Gross negligence.
It appears New York City has been having the same DEI anti white police training as the UK.
Watch as a white woman is attacked in broad daylight, as she fights for her life, she is also arrested.
