Adult children rarely “walk away” from parents lightly. Years of emotional strain, boundary violations, or harm usually precede estrangement. Therapy helps communication, boundaries & mutual accountability, it’s not about splitting families. Estrangement is a last resort.
@Airbnb Fortunately got it all sorted today because I called in again and finally got hold of the right department who picked up my case and reviewed it promptly and have reimbursed my whole holiday plus extra alternative accommodation I had to pay for. Thank you so much
@Airbnb We had to vacate our booking on 9 Aug after finding hair, debris, stains & live bugs in the bed. Reported within hours & left the same night. Booking still shows active & no refund yet. We meet all your cleanliness refund policy terms - please resolve this.
To clarify: We reported the bugs, hair, stained bedding to @Airbnb within hours of arrival (9 Aug) and left that night. Airbnb’s own policy says full refund if it’s unclean at check-in, reported in 24hrs, and you vacate. We meet all 3. Still waiting. #Airbnb#HolidayNightmare
