Last night, the government were called on to get to grips with our building safety crisis and remove all flammable cladding by June 2022.
They voted against making homes safe and ensuring innocent homeowners are not forced to cover the costs.
Shame on them.
Thank you for your support and solidarity. 🙏🏼✊🏼
Today Nelson Mandela’s words come to mind:
“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again”.

If you can do so in a safe way, come and join us tomorrow at midday in London at Speaker’s Corner to stand in solidarity with Palestine. Events also at many locations across the UK. Wear a mask, bring sanitiser and remember to socially distance.
Its clear that only the Trade Unions & grass roots party members can drag the party out of the current self imposed dark hole that a section of morally bankrupt, controlling despots have landed us in
Labour's election disaster is a symptom of a party which has turned its back on its primary job – standing up for working people and defending their interests across society, argues @DaveWardGS. https://t.co/ebKjesePHi
I've said it before and I'll continue to say it, why try & be tory lite, tories are much better at being tories than Lab ever could be, let's revert to representing the people who rely on us ffs let's stand for something rather than this non opposition shit show
Great to see Jeremy Corbyn and @BeckettUnite on the picket line together against #FireandRehire.

Every day I am more convinced that those who lied about Corbyn, and those who gave credence to those lies, delivered Johnson.
Every day I become a little more sickened by the hypocritical whining or people who scuppered our socialist project..
Dear Boris Johnson
You said that GCSE exams for this year were cancelled. They're not cancelled. They're called 'assessments'. And instead of examiners marking them, teachers are. For no money. But the schools have paid the exam boards. Where's the money?
Yours
Michael Rosen

Crowds are gathering at Trafalgar Square in London to #KilltheBill Great to see a range of causes represented - it’s crucial we all unite to defend the right to protest
🚨🚨 This #MayDay we'll be across the country fighting to #KillTheBill 🚨🚨
As a union representing some of the most precarious workers, we know that our right to protest has been instrumental in our victories.
Time to kill the bill.

Please contact your Unite Branch Secretary via email and formally request that you nominate your chosen candidate to be General Secretary of Unite. It’s your Union and you should have a say.
What’s the purpose of a Trade Union?
• Some say focus should be workplace organising
• Some say focus should be community organising
• Some say focus should be politically organising
This debate misses the point. Any Trade Union worth its salt should do all 3 of these things
I remember when the 2016 & 2017 local elections were wrongly spun as unparalleled disasters for Labour entirely due to Jeremy Corbyn.
So when a poll suggests Keir Starmer's Labour may do much worse in many areas, the one thing they can't do is blame it on Jere... oh, they can.
