Maddie jumps another PR and breaks her own school record and jumping 19-4.5” and now being ranked 3rd in the state going into championship season!!

Katie Martin ran a new best PR in the open 800 after dealing with some backward jostling at the beginning of the race. Taima T finished in 4th in the HJ at 5’4” and making the podium!

While many were racing at Bville, a handful of kids competed down at the Loucks Games in White Plains. Maddie set a new school record in the LJ at 19-1” and a new PR in the 200m of 25.38. Nahla Battle-Crenshaw then ran a 24.95s 200 to set a new school record.

Kaylee L improved her career PR in the TJ and will look to achieve the 34’ mark in the coming weeks. Lizzie B qualified for sectionals in the 400h and is 1 second off the sectional standard for the open 400m

Many exciting things happened this weekend. We had kids perform great at the John Arcaro Invite at Bville. Cooper K PR’d in the steeple as well as Owen B in the steeple. Jill Fox PR’d in the LJ by 2 ft. Anderson T qualified for sectionals in TJ

Some highlights from this past weekend from our alumni: Derek Grimshaw Triple crowns in the empire 8 championships! Mia Wright also earns the ECC title as champion in the 400m. Love seeing our alumni excel at the collegiate level

Last weekend was the ladies who raced at Nationals. This past weekend, we had a male race at the Adidas Indoor Nationals meet down at Virginia Beach. Brayden Smith competed in the 400m and the 200m, finishing with 2 PR’s and 2 school records in those events.

Maddie Devendorf and Nahla Battle Crenshaw ran out in Boston this weekend in the girls 60m championship race. Both girls ran PR’s and finished out their high school indoor career owning many school records. @LCSDAthletics

Katie Martin raced in the Girls Championship 800m race today out in Boston at the New Balance Indoor Nationals. She set a new school record and loves repping the backpack @LCSDAthletics @MRM6thMartin
