Even at this late stage, opposition Lords are STILL voting to water down key measures in the Employment Rights Bill - risking delaying key new rights like access to Statutory Sick Pay from Day One.
It can't go on like this. The Lords must get out of the way and let the Bill pass, so we can deliver the new rights working people desperately need.

🚨BREAKING: Tory Lords block landmark Employment Rights Bill from passing.
Enough is enough.
Continuing to vote down this Bill is undemocratic. This Bill has been debated and scrutinised for months. Tory Peers are actively defying the will of the British public and their own supporters, who overwhelmingly support measures in this Bill.
The fight goes on. These unelected Lords who are holding up this Bill must urgently move out the way.
We will not rest until these rights are enacted and workers start to benefit.

Applause in the chamber as @liamrobinson24 reiterates his position that nothing less than a Hillsborough Law in full will be accepted by the city
