I’ve met some inspirational campaigners, most are women, Joanne & Jocelyn from @2020Comms join this list.
The tenacity & skill they show in challenging this injustice to 1950s woman & building a powerful campaign is truly awe inspiring.
I will continue to support their efforts✊
I was proud to join #BackTo60 campaigners at Downing Street today to hand in my EDM no 430 in support of full state pension restitution to nearly 4 million 50s-born women, including more than 5,000 in my West Derby consituency.
"These are women who've done everything asked of them."
Shadow Chancellor @johnmcdonnellMP explains why Labour is committing £58 billion to compensate women born in the 1950s who were denied a state pension.
The money was not included in Labour's manifesto or costings.

Following the @PHSOmbudsman findings vindicating the #WASPI campaigners, I have written to @theresecoffey on behalf of the 5,000+ women in my constituency affected by changes to the State Pension age.
It's time to right the huge wrong that they and so many others have suffered.
As General Secretary, @UniteSharon will fully resource a campaign to ensure all #50sWomen & #WASPI women finally get justice. The fight for their compensation is a fight for all trade unionists. #SG4GS
Pls everyone write to your MP via constituency office & tell them YOUR story - how you heard about pension age rises & how it affects you. MP address via this link https://t.co/ig5UwTfeyV Ask everyone you know to follow suit. #waspicampaign2018#WASPI#FairandFast#NotGoingAway
I am a WASPI and have fought for over 5 years for justice for us 50’s born women. I want to know WHEN we are going to be given that justice and have our long awaited pensions paid to us.🐝
Yes this is me over 60, still waiting for my #StatePension paid NI contributions over 40 years, It's not a benefit it's my own pension, when you've finally resolved this matter pls put my pension in my bank account were it belongs! @theresecoffey https://t.co/4MMmXWyHrO
Solidarity with #WASPI campaigners who have been vindicated after today's @PHSOmbudsman investigation found there were major failings in the way the DWP communicated changes.
They deserve justice for the appalling way they have been treated.

Today the @WASPI_Campaign have been completely vindicated by the finding of major failings in how DWP communicated the immoral changes to state pension age to women born in the 1950s.
The Government must now right this injustice.

Parliamentary Ombudsman officially says maladministration over 50s women pensions – but it will still be a long wait for justice – Westminster Confidential https://t.co/15rikcDyc9

@sandra_cheetham@deasy_diane@terryelaineh1 My point is we are a vulnerable age group in the midst of a pandemic. Many of us including myself aged 62 working on the front line. Considering the risk the gov went ahead in Oct of making working age 66.
Well 6 years of waiting bit today I am 66 and I get my pension
I never thought the day would come
I will never forgive the gov for the nightmare they have put me through or the £50.000 I've lost
