It wasn’t “British” causing issues outside the ground. It was gangs of your citizens causing chaos. Doing what they could to get in the ground before the match and attacking/robbing people afterwards.
I need to stay off Twitter today. I am sick to my stomach due to the outrageous vile people's tweets.. just sickening.
I hope everyone is okay and safe. ❤
"#AlwaysTheVictims" is a disgusting trend. Hillsborough was evidently not caused by the Liverpool supporters in 1989. For decades the families of those who were killed have fought tirelessly for justice, and using that just to score points against a football rival is revolting.
‣ 63 games
‣ Just four defeats
‣ Two trophies
‣ Champions League runners up
‣ Premier League runners up & just one point behind Man City
Still a season for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp to be proud of 👏
Still locked outside the ground over two hours after arriving.
Fans did not arrive late. They closed the gates and all of the stewards and police have disappeared. There's danger of a serious crush here.
Let this be said now with absolutely clarity: there is no blame to be put on fans here, none whatsoever. French police have used pepper spray for no reason - and I know this because I’ve felt the effects with some colleagues. How these people are being treated is a disgrace
Absolutely devastating. Incredible season, so close. A squad of legends. A European Final still to look forward to. I've no doubt this side will give every drop of energy in search of number 7.
