Like many other online ticketing platforms, some vendors prefer passing costs to customers and making it more inconvenient for the user to purchase a digital ticket than a print ticket. This is the opposite of what technology was supposed to do 🤦🏻♀️
Cineplex, Canada’s largest film exhibitor, has introduced a new $1.50 booking fee that applies to each ticket purchased online.

This is the first year I miss the @ottawafringe but I get to catch the last few days of @Fringemtl for the first time!
I welcome the mix of French & English plays, something I would have liked to have seen more in Ottawa.
And in true Fringe fashion, I have my highlighter ready!
Remember when the NCC shut down a lemonade stand run by kids because they didn’t have a permit?
Or when the city ordered a man to dismantle a skating rink in his own yard because his neighbour complained?
Clearly this is a choice authorities are making to not enforce the law.
Protesters at Confederation park, right across from City Hall and beside the NAC and Rideaul Canal, appear to be building some type of wooden structure. They've also collected a stockpile of propane tanks and diesel fuel. @CTVNews
@GCTCLive Politics, ads and a nuclear war - what a trio! I loved this production. The story, cast and set were fantastic.
But even more fantastic was being back inside the GCTC. I really missed you.
It was an immense pleasure to be able to share my journey in story form with @digi60fest, a festival that has been deeply influential on my filmmaking career. You can watch this session on their Facebook page, where I talk about what representation in media means to me.

@JimWatsonOttawa What a privilege it has been to be a part of your incredible team and to have an opportunity to learn from you. Ottawa is lucky to have had you as Mayor these last three terms and your direct contributions have made it a much better city.
All the best Mayor Watson!
Wishing @JimWatsonOttawa, my former boss and one of the most hardworking individuals I’ve ever met, all the best in his future endeavours.
The City of Ottawa truly is a better place to live, work and play because of him.
