I recently sold my business that I founded and built for the past 7 years, so now I am looking for some new things to do! I am currently a nomad visiting all of the national parks, but I have some free time to explore new ideas and opportunities.

Happy to report the new coolant reservoir install went well. Cost less than a full tank of diesel.

This is why you pop the hood every once in awhile…

I was doing my pre-tow stuff, actually checked the oil and transmission fluid levels so I happened to catch this crack on my coolant reservoir. Not trying to overheat on I-10 in Arizona today, so change of plans.

Bought the new part, now I just need to install it. I’ve never done one before but time to learn something new (and save $ on mechanic labor). Wish me luck!

@DatDieselGuy Thanks man. I was planning on draining enough to empty the reservoir guessing 2 gallons. How much coolant to empty the radiator I wonder on a 7.3? I’m collecting it in gallon jugs and reusing it

Here I am wrenching on my truck to replace the shock absorbers. Today I replaced all 4, and it’s a nice upgrade. I also created what I think was a pretty good business related post, but apparently X liked me working on my truck better. Enjoy
