@Professorbroman It's the glasses. I guess those 90's movies where the female lead takes off her glasses to reveal that she was attractive the entire time really were true.
@LuxintN7@Aztecross Lol, yeah some1 on a 15 minute break is gonna do all that for $20. Not putting more time, money, & energy in something is not the same as burning it down. The servers are still up, no? D2 is not that unique. It's not a cure for cancer. It's a fun flavor or soda. Other sodas exist
@LuxintN7@Aztecross You could try that but the owner doesn't pick up. They are too busy admiring their car collection. No one in their right mind would Karen out & invest more time on this. They would simply stop using the machine. Not investing more money in it is not the same as burning it down.
@PaulTassi If you (Sony) put a $20 (3.6 billion) in a vending machine (Bungie) and it eats the money and no items come out, are you gonna spam it with $5 hoping that it won't eat that too and maybe one item will knock both down so you get some of the items?
@TheTrueVanguard Nah man, to really see the results you gotta get your partner to put contouring makeup on your chest. Maybe a nice lipstick to really accent it too. Some blush... Earrings...a wig...you'd look so buff.
@ResoluteMaverik After playing destiny for over 10+ years, that did not provide enough extra resources for a sequel to Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete (1992). 10 years of marathon isn't gonna lead to a d3 either. Let it all burn. The devs can move on to greener pastures far from soulless CEO's.
@giancar73012035 Why are people acting like devs at an established studio are some sort of endangered species that need protection when in fact they get a ton of resources & benefits including but not limited to severance pay(based on tenure), extended health benefits, & job placement assistance.
@LogPowerslave I'm convinced the corporate level of Bungie are some sort of cosmic cthulhu-esc beings that have no form. I'm not sure anything actionable will come from those invisible boogeyman lol.
@PaulTassi@Crusader3456 Is it? The whole analogy of a Phoenix rising from the ashes comes to mind. Maybe the devs will move on to greener pastures and make something better than both games instead of being stuck under soulless management burning everything to the ground.
@Byrdman@Blundarian This is kind of a 1-1 & proving your point wrong either way. If it is too successful, no d3 since all the chips went there. If it fails, no d3. I played destiny for 10 years and I never got a sequel to Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete (1992). No one's getting d3 from marathon.
@eternalcrim Got it. I just play Marathon and shill for it for 10 more years, surely all that contribution and public opinion will get a sequel to Bungie's Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete (1992). I'm sure half of the destiny players supported the game banking on a new minotaurs game later.
@Chrangus_ Let it all burn to the ground. You will have an equally high chance of something new that's even better that comes from the ashes. I'm sure the halo base said something similar about destiny but they never got a new halo from Bungie. You're not getting a d3 out of marathon.
@JezCorden Early on that would have been great since there would be accountability for a lot of the poor decisions made by soulless leadership and the amount of resources put into eververse instead of in game rewards.
