Looking into Bale Unrollers for the housed cattle. Would love to know who has one, pros and cons, brands. We d like to feed silage wet and dry and also straw. We ve a TMR feeder for the youngstock but thinking a bale unroller makes more economic sense for the breeding stock.
@herdyshepherd1 Cows. In Aberdeenshire. In 18 degrees. With grass underfoot. Crazy! We brought them in because today is not the issue the next day of rain and cold is.

@QUBFoodProf Is there a way to read the report other than this link: I went through the registration and download but cannot read the report on my phone. Many thanks

@timspector I ve not had so many friends actually ill since the start of this pandemic. This strain seems to be knocking people sideways reinfecting vaccinated people. 40-55 year old age group.
@RabFleming81 We do 6 weeks and even then there are still those that lag behind and that gap at the end. Heifers only get 4 weeks. We didn’t loose as many as we thought when we tightened up and it makes management and calving so much easier. A really worthwhile effort.
