thanks @DrSeanBarnes for the posts on the nitrous oxide talk! I love these graphs because you can really see how each choice you make (FGF, N2O) impacts emissions in a significant way! #PedsAnes23
Super inspired by @DianeGordonMD and her tireless work to reduce the environmental impact of care while maintaining the highest standards for quality and safety. We can (and do) take great care of kids without nitrous oxide! @DabeChatter @ForbesMcGain

@sunny_tumber These policies are absurd and unnecessary.
1. Patients have a right to make an informed refusal.
2. The risks that a positive pregnancy test in the EMR may pose (inc across state lines) due to restrictive and carceral abortion laws, should wake up periop policymakers.
All our patients deserve standard of care, including antiemetics. There is no excuse for undertreating Black patients.

It's time to decommission centrally supplied #nitrousoxide so we can reduce waste and emissions! With no changes to patient care. Slides @ChesebroBrian
@HarrietHopfMD@BurgartBioethix Absolutely agree bike commuting for the win!!! It's a forced break, you breathe (mostly) fresh air, get your heart rate up. Today marked my 1,314th bike commute!
If you are a clinician, this is a letter you should consider signing now. Care for the environment is key to our movement for care. Care for our planet should not be optional, not for extra credit. https://t.co/NCwEWQtxiE
