Liz Hubbard

Lover of good food, good wine and all things London-related. Theatre, live music and Arsenal FC are some of my particular passions.

@HM_Passport As you're unable to provide the correct no for Ecc Sq I'm trying to cancel my appointment online so s/one else can benefit from my slot. Clicking Cancel gets "Sorry there are no available appointments". No web advisors are available. How do I cancel my appointment?

[Liz Hubbard @LizHubbard1]

@HM_Passport 2/2 I then found another no for Ecc Sq (charged at £1.50 per minute) which connected me straight back to the generic Passport Office number I'd dialled previously, which I'd been told was incorrect. Pls can you advise what no I should call to cancel my appointment?

[Liz Hubbard @LizHubbard1]

@HM_Passport 1/2 Trying to cancel a FT appointment by phone to free up a slot & receive a refund (refunds not given if you cancel online). After numerous attempts got through to an advisor who told me to contact Ecc Sq directly but couldn't provide their no. She then cut me off.

@virginmedia @VirginMedia_TV We have pictures but no volume on any of the channels that we subscribe to through you (terrestrial channels are fine). Are there any problems in the Greater London area with the VM service that you're aware of?

@CHHoulbrook I studied Latin to A-level at Langley Park Girls' School in Kent.

[Arsenal @Arsenal]

As a result of listening to you and the wider football community over recent days we are withdrawing from the proposed Super League.

We made a mistake, and we apologise for it.

@LauraHolland Me too, Laura 🙂

I know this lockdown has been really tough, especially after so many months of difficulty. But we must all remember why we’re doing this: to save lives, help our NHS and to beat this virus—for good.

Keep going, London. This won’t be forever.

Climate change is a real threat to us all—but feeling helpless or overwhelmed isn’t going to solve it. As long as we stay hopeful and keep working with the urgency the challenge demands, we can make a difference. https://t.co/AK1fYVdmzy

Before you act, think about all the people working in our city’s hospitals this Christmas — working exhausting shifts, away from their families. They've been there for us since day 1 of this crisis.

Stay home. Protect our NHS. Save lives.

Today we remember the 200,000+ people who were murdered or died as a result of the Nazi genocide of Europe’s Roma and Sinti population. We must all commit to opposing hatred and intolerance. #RomaGenocideMemorialDay https://t.co/Q99sFK0wUS

I realise I missed a trick yesterday but for anyone who would like a bit of background history to how the #FACup came about here's a link to a 20 minute talk I gave to @ChingfordHist in June. (It focuses on history not football!) https://t.co/53W9fQkElk
