There has been a big change in American Idol in just the last couple of seasons. More Christians participating, openly professing their faith, and singing Christian songs. Just a few years ago, when they would do an “inspirational“ night, the song lyrics would all be really vague. Now, most of them are openly Christian. They do allow contestants to pick other songs that have some kind of inspirational theme if they prefer.
@SammyTrayslhap@quinn31960@mattvanswol There’s also ECO - Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians. Once you add up PCA, EPC and ECO, the number of Biblically-faithful Presbyterians are much closer to USA.
@Bergundy1167454@PolitiBunny So, full term fetuses don't need protection? When the only thing keeping them from being a separate individual is a travel down the birth canal?
@shannonrwatts@cmclymer Have you taken a recent look at England? If guns are tightly controlled, they use knives and cars as weapons. Justification of violence is the real issue.
My husband and I fulfilled our civic duty today in Virginia for likely our last time. We have put a contract on a house in another state. There are reasons other than politics, such as being closer to family, but politics does play a part in our decision. The state, or at least NOVA, the Richmond Area, Tidewater and Charlottesville, has been overrun by leftists and idiots. Born here, lived here most of my life. It's a bittersweet parting.
@cooneycongress @arlingtondems of course there are a steady stream of "yes" voters in Arlington, they will give a green light to anything democrats want up there...
@PolitiBunny@FDivot9999 I hate to see where they will be after graduation. My oldest transferred to VCU after two years at a private university. My youngest went to JMU. Both ended up indoctrinated.
@AdrianAnnMiller@drterrysimpson Processed foods play a big role. Also, because most of us don’t depend on public transportation, we walk less as part of our daily routine.
Ironically, many of the people who really need it are cut out of access to it, since Medicare doesn't cover GLP-1's for weight loss and the name brand medications are tremendously expensive without insurance. I was fortunate that my sleep apnea qualified me for Zepbound on my employer's insurance. I've been on it for 14 months and lost 84 lbs. Unfortunately I have transitioned to Medicare now. I will continue on compound trizepitide for at least the next few months, and then evaluate my choices. I am now barely into the "obese" category and would not even qualify tor the Medicare pilot program coming up because my BMI is slightly too low.
@GovernorVA LOL...ratepayers WILL eventually pay for the new energy infrastructure, much of which will be required by Democrats to comply with clean energy ideals.
